NWEA MAP GROWTH: Our K-8 scholars participate in three testing terms a year: fall, winter and spring. Scholars are assessed in both math and reading.

Fall testing term: September 2017
Winter Term: January 2018
Spring Term: April and May 2018

MAP Growth measures what scholars know and informs teachers what they’re ready to learn next. The purpose of MAP Growth assessments is to ensure scholars are making adequate yearly gains. A scholar’s RIT score identifies areas of strengths and opportunities for growth, which allows us to better individualize instruction to meet the needs of all of our scholars.

MCA-III State Standardized Test: Our 3-8 scholars participate in the MCA-III test for math and reading every spring.

Reading and Math Testing MCA-III: March 12- March 23, 2018

The purpose of MCA-III reading and math tests is to measure achievement and proficiency of the Minnesota Academic Standards and measure academic progress of students over time. It also allows us to reflect on how well we are serving our students compared to similar neighborhood schools.
